Welcome to our new site!

​Last weekend Post Christmas party was a lot of fun!  It was great to see friends we haven’t seen for a while.
 
I would like to thank Sue Locks for donating the beautiful Holiday decorations in the front of our building, it looks really great!
 
Post 72 made Ice Cream Sundaes for CT National Guard Families at Operation ELF last weekend, see attached photo.

​Post 72 delivered 8 cases of Girl Scout cookies to Tunxis Veterans Oasis, see attached photo.

The fifth annual coat drive is on as well, if you have a new coat or a gently used coat, hats, glove’s, boot’s, or scarfs bring them down and I will make sure they get to the people that need them in our town.

We are now serving pizza Burgers and more every day.  Stop down in the post lounge anytime for a great personal pizza from Zuppardi’s Apizza anytime!  This week we also have French onion, broccoli bacon & cheddar, and chicken cordon blue soups and new England clam chowder.
 
The lounge now has Keno!  Stop down and give it a try, lots of fun and you can get your Powerball, mega millions and all the other games the CT lottery has to offer.
 
Tuesday’s between 9am and noon the service office is open so if you would like to see Gino, (the American Legion Service Officer) to help you with any veteran related issues (and more).  His office is upstairs, so the ramp and front doors will be unlocked between those times.
 
Pool league Monday night’s at 7pm.
 
Dart league Wednesday night’s at 7pm.
 
Setback Thursday night’s at 7pm.
 
There is a book case in the lounge with a wide variety of books so stop down and see if any interest you.  You can also donate a book for others to enjoy.
 
Post lounge hours are; 12:00 – 10:00 Monday thru Friday, Saturday 11:00 – 11:00, Sunday 11:00 – 9:00.
