Post 72 has a pool team that is short a couple players this season.  No league experience required, (last season was my first), so if you like pool, we meet Monday nights at the post and local pubs, matches start at 7pm it’s a lot of fun!  Get in touch with me and we will get you started.

Breakfast sandwiches on the weekends has been a success and will continue for the foreseeable future.  If you would like to help on Sundays, please contact me.  The lounge is opening a little earlier on the weekends, Saturday we will open at 9am serving breakfast sandwiches for just $2.  Sunday, we open at 10am with the same deal so we hope to see you there!

This Saturday stop down for some Roman’s famous shepherd’s pie with gravy!

A few people have approached me about doing a Saturday dinner and a couple had some good questions which I will address now.  Once you speak with me about the meal you would like to prepare, the house committee will pay for all the food for that meal.  The bartender will take orders and take care of the money.  You would be cooking in the kitchen and serving the dish with the help of others, it’s really a lot of fun!  There’s a signup sheet in the post lounge.  We would love to have you share your favorite dish with your Legion family members, get back to me when you would like to prepare yours. 
 
Super bowl Sunday will be catered by Deli 66 so expect some great food to watch an awesome game!

The Auxiliary Annual Chocolate Festival will be in the Post Hall Saturday February 2, 10am – 3pm.
 
The fifth annual coat drive is doing very well but we could always use some more new or gently used gloves, mittens, scarfs, snow pants and of course coats.  So, if you do, bring them down to the post and I will be sure to get them to our neighbors that need them.
