5/2/19 Updates

As of this morning we raised $3,567.00 for childhood cancer research!  I want to thank everyone that came out and made this event such a success!  Next year will be bigger and better!  I also would like to thank the local restaurants that donated raffle prizes and food for the event.  They were, Domino's, The Hideaway Café, Friends, Groggy Frog, the Hen House, and Deli 66. Here is the piece that ran on channel 61 Sunday night. 

Sunday May 5th is Cinco De Mayo so naturally we will be doing tacos Saturday and nachos on Sunday in the post lounge.

Saturday May 11th & 18th - Hello Everyone it is that time of year when we need to get ready for Memorial Day.   So, May 11 starting at 8 am lets meet at the Meriden AVE Side of cemetery to start clearing the Veterans Foot stones. I will have several extra weed eaters in case someone needs one.  If you want to go over before this date  please call me at 860-877-2513 and I will let you know which areas are not done yet.   Then May 18 lets start at 8 am Meriden Ave side to place the flags. We are usually done by 10:30
 
Sunday May 12th is the Mother’s Day breakfast in the post hall from 8 till 11am.
 
Saturday May 18th is Touch-a-Truck beginning at 10am at the Southington Drive-in.

Monday May 27th is Memorial Day with things getting started at 7:30am.

Auxiliary monthly meetings are held on the 3rd Monday at 7pm.

S.A.L. monthly meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday at 7pm.

Legion monthly meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday at 7pm.

Legion Riders monthly meetings are held on the 1st Monday at 7pm.

Marine Corps League monthly meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday at 7pm.

Red men monthly meetings are held on the 2nd & 4th Thursday at 7pm.

House Committee meetings on the third Tuesday in the post lounge at 7pm.

Stop down Friday night for some karaoke fun in the Post lounge beginning at 7pm!  As usual if you your hungry we have a great selection of personal pizzas hand made locally by Zuppardi’s Apizza in New Haven and delivered to us fresh every week.  We also have Hummel hotdogs, stuffed peppers and all kinds of snacks for those late-night munchies.  The kitchen is open till the bar closes.

Saturday the bar opens at 11am serving mimosa’s, bloody Mary’s and all kinds of adult beverages.

Sunday, we open at 11am again serving breakfast sandwiches, mimosa’s, bloody Mary’s and all kinds of adult beverages.
