Comedy Nights - A Fun Time for all while raising money for worth while causes

The American Legion Kiltonic Post 72 has so many programs and services that we offer to our veterans, troops and community.    We have multiple fundraisers throughout the year to help cover the costs of these programs and services and one of those is the Entertainment Series.   We put on 10 shows a year, with each show benefiting the programs or services we offer.   Sponsorships help us offset the costs of these events so that more money can go towards these great programs.   The post has programs such as Laptops for Troops, which has donated over 4,300 laptops to troops overseas, veterans who have come home and are starting school, and those who are recovering at Walter Reed Medical Center.   The legion supports activities at the Veterans Home in Rocky Hill as well as the Fisher House in West Haven.   Our Children and Youth Programs are strong at the post as a post family, we award $5,000 in scholarships to High School Seniors every year.   We also sponsor oratorical competitions, Boy's State and State Police Youth Week.   Our Service Office helps veterans with obtaining the benefits that they deserve as well as helps veterans in their time of need.   These are just a sampling of some of the great work our volunteers do on a daily basis.   We are 100% volunteer based, so all funds go directly to the programs and services we offer.
