11/14/17 Updates

Great turnout for Veterans Day!  Steve McCarty did a wonderful job keeping everyone at the podium in time and I thought all the speeches were very good!  Excellent job by all (especially the S.A.L. for preparing lunch) that made it a special day!

Later that evening the prime rib dinner sold out while Matt played music all night!  Another example of us all working together getting things done!

Thanksgiving is a week from Thursday, there is a signup sheet in the lounge if you would like to bring a dish down for our dinner which usually starts around 6pm.  Roman does a regular turkey while I prepare a fried bird so stop down and really mess up your diet for the day!

The house committee is now serving its new menu Monday & Tuesday from 3pm till 7pm then Wednesday & Friday 3pm till 9pm.  Stop down and check it out!

If you have a birthday, baby shower or any special occasion coming up, consider the post hall! The American Legion is clean, affordable and is now smoke free! Call Chuck at 860 628 6379 for more information, help support our post!
